New Appointments at KLGCC

 

1 December 2014, Kuala Lumpur- Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) has made two key appointments to further enhance the Club’s role in serving members and guests better.  These appointments will ensure KLGCC continues to thrive and meet the expectations of its diverse community of members and guests in the coming years.

Farroul Hossey has stepped into the role of Club Manager and will hold overall responsibility of overseeing the Security, Corporate Golf, Facilities and Golf Operations segments with a wealth of experience.

Prior to this, Mr.Farroul was managing the Golf Operations department at KLGCC where he had the experience working together with major international and national tournaments held here at KLGCC like the Maybank Malaysian Open, Sime Darby LPGA and the CIMB Classic just to name a few-making him the youngest Golf Club Manager in Malaysia today.

Mr. Farroul has a collective experience in the golf industry for over 10 years now. Mr.Farroul graduated from Professional Golfer Career College in Southern California in 2004. In 2003, his first job was in Pulai Springs Golf & Country Club in Johor Bahru. He worked as a management trainee and within one year he was promoted to an Executive and again promoted to Assistant Golf Manager within his second year working. He headed the golf department which also made him the youngest manager back then.

The other appointment is Mr.Ramiriz Osman, who has been appointed as the new Food & Beverage Manager. Mr.Ramiriz was previously overseeing the Banqueting operations here at the Club. Throughout his entire career in the service and hospitality industry, Mr. Ramiriz has served and dealt with clients over the span of 20 years.

His previous work experience has given him the edge to hold this position where he will be working closely with Executive Chef Arnold Kwok in overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations.

The above appointments were made by General Manager, Steven Thielke who strongly believes in ever improving the Club’s standards and services.
