CHEF BONG COOKS UP A DELIGHTFUL REUNION THIS LUNAR NEW YEAR AT CHINA TREASURES, KLGCC

Kuala Lumpur, 22 October 2013 – What better way to reunite and usher in the Year of the Horse with revelries that will preserve memories of a fun-filled early reunion with family and friends this Lunar New Year?

Get ready to savour and delight in authentic Chinese cuisine specially prepared by Executive Chef Bong Jun Choi with three reunion menus priced at RM 918++ to RM1128++ per table of ten. These menus are available from 11 November to January 12 2014.

Featured on these reunion menus are Combination of Hot and Cold Dish Platter, Steamed Red Snapper with Cut Chillies and Bean Sauce, Braised Eight Treasure Seafood and Abalone Broth, Poached Tiger Prawns with Ginseng and Wolfberries Broth, and Fried Rice with Minced Chicken in Lotus Leaf and many more specialities.

Each year, Chef Bong and his team carefully plan out the unforgettable sweet ending to your wholesome dinner. This year, the team will be presenting you with Chilled Honey Dew Puree with Pearl Sago, the famous Mua Chee Dumplings and Pancake with Lotus Filling, a Warm Red Bean Puree with Pearl Sago, and Chilled Sea Coconut with Coco Jelly.

As for our Chinese New Year Menus, choose from three sets priced from RM 1138++ to RM 3288 ++ per table of ten. Some of the specials available during the festive period are Braised Sea Moss in Dried Oyster Rolls with Sliced Abalone and Chinese Greens, Steamed Black Cod with Spicy Pickled Relish, Sautéed Promfret with Hoshimeiji and Chinese Greens, Poached Marinated Herbal Chicken with Turkey Ham Abalone Sauce, Braised Supreme Sea Cucumber with 10 head size of South African Abalones, and Clay Pot Stewed Chicken Meatball with Fish Maw and Crispy Cutter Fish. Available from 13 January to 15 February 2014, these menus comes with a special New Year dessert.

Yee Sang

Available for dine-in and take-away with a minimal charge of RM 15++ per order and will feature the ‘Prosperity Yee Sang a La Carte’ menu with famous Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang, Fresh Abalone, Haruan Fish, and Wasabi flavoured seafood with crackers and Chinese pears to go with if you’d like for a small fee. The Yee Sang priced from RM98++ to RM 188++ is available from 2 December onwards.

An ideal venue for corporate and family dining, China Treasures features a subtle décor with Chinese influence that exudes sophistication and unpretentious comfort, complementing the overall ambience and setting. China Treasures is open from Monday- Sunday at 11.30am to 2.30pm for lunch and 6.30pm to 10.30pm for dinner. It accommodates approximately 130 people including four private rooms for an intimate dining experience.
